Band Lineup - 2008

T2 - John Nady's Band

T2 is an energetic 5-piece blues/R&B/rock band which includes hosts John and Toby Nady (John on lead guitar, Toby on sax and keyboards). A trained, creative electronics engineer and talented entrepreneur, as well as an accomplished guitarist, John developed the modern wireless microphone which he used in his own rock band before marketing it over 25 years ago. Based on this revolutionary technology Nady Systems was formed, and by the 1980's Nady wireless mics were being used on stage by most popular touring artists. Singer Syria T. Berry (no relation to Chuck) has showcased his powerful vocal talents and showmanship with numerous Bay Area bands and he also performs regularly (when not singing with T2) as a gospel singer and solo artist. Rick Martinez, on drums, has provided powerhouse rhythms in bands with John off and on since 1975, as well as in many other Bay Area bands. Rick works as a Alameda County juvenile probation officer by day. Bob Lewis (a.k.a. "Sturge"), on bass, is also an accomplished guitar player and has played with numerous East Bay and Sonoma County bands including Ruby Moon, Raymond Victor Band, John Gallagher Band, and the Treez. He's also opened for Phil Everly, New Riders, Norton Buffalo, Sara Lee Guthrie, and Johnny Nitro. Toby Nady, a life-long musician who has played numerous instruments, rounds out the group with her blazing R &B influenced sax solos and versatile keyboard stylings.
